1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SignalixIQ (“the Service”), operated by GrimLabs (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

Scan or analyze websites you do not own or have explicit written permission to scan
Bypass robots.txt directives, rate limits, or other access controls
Conduct competitive intelligence on stores without authorization
Scrape personally identifiable information (PII)
Violate the terms of service of any third-party platform (Amazon, eBay, etc.)
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose

Crawler behavior:Our scanner identifies as “SignalixIQ-Scanner”, obeys robots.txt Disallow and Crawl-Delay directives, respects site-defined rate limits, and limits scans to 20 pages per site.

3. Merchant Representations

When you submit a URL to be scanned (whether your own store or a competitor), you represent and warrant that: (a) you have the legal right to authorize the scan; (b) the scan does not violate the target site's terms of service or any applicable law; (c) you indemnify SignalixIQ from any claims arising from your scan request.

4. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your account settings. Refunds are handled per our refund policy below.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time subscriptions. Email hello@signalixiq.com to request a refund. Usage-based charges (MCP query overages) are non-refundable.

6. Service Availability

We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

7. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of your store data. We retain ownership of aggregate, anonymized scan data used to generate industry benchmarks and insights pages. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

8. Limitation of Liability

SignalixIQ is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months. We are not responsible for changes in AI agent traffic, third-party platform changes, or business outcomes resulting from use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
